I loved watching Toy Hunter when it was broadcast over in the UK on 2 different channels. I remember when my girlfriend and I would watch seasons 1 & 2 and then finally, season 3, which came out later. I then decided to record the episodes on my sky box and had to wait a while for the seasons to be repeated again but eventually, I managed to record them all including the pilot episode. However, the Christmas special episode was never broadcast over in the UK (from what I could see and I always kept a look out for this). Unfortunately, my sky box went on the blink and therefore, I lost the episodes. I had season 1 of Toy Hunter on DVD but the other seasons were never given an official release. This is where I came across HardtoFindTV. Having purchase the complete collection of Toy Hunter for Christmas last year, we immediately went back through the seasons, which are in top quality. There are some noticeable differences, such as missing scenes that were on the UK edition (like when Jordan travels to Birmingham, UK and speaks to someone dressed as Darth Vader and talks about Ozzy Osbourne - that scene is completely gone, etc.) but included some additional scenes that weren't included in the UK version, which must have been for the US only, which was interesting to see and has no complaints from me as the episodes are full. However, none of that takes away from the pure entertainment of watching this addictive series and that's what it is... addictive. Seeing Jordan and his team travel around the United States and internationally trying to find the right vintage toy either for his clients, his famous clients or for an upcoming convention as well as learning the history of the toy and why it's so rare or costly - it's really interesting to hear and see. That and you are guaranteed to find toys that you had as a kid. That was the same for me, especially toys from the 80's and 90's. However, Jordan will find toys earlier than that from the 60's and 70's. Overall, it's a fantastic watch with the people involved in the show being excellent and you meet some fun characters. Having the full season, including the hard-to-find Christmas episode made my collection feel fulfilled. However, I noticed a couple of months back that there was a missing episode from the disc but it was an episode I had never heard of or watched. By chance, I saw on the Toy Hunter Wikipedia that a special Halloween Special called Toy Haunter was broadcast but I had never seen it in the UK. I notified Tim from HardtoFindTV and he looked into it and found it had been added to Amazon when it initially wasn't there when he put the Toy Hunter collection together. As a gesture of goodwill, Tim added the additional episode to the disc and dispatched it to me. It arrived this past weekend and my girlfriend and I watched it on Saturday evening and it was a joy watching an unseen episode after 10 years! Now, I can truly say, my collection of Toy Hunter is complete. I want to thank Tim for his help, correspondence and assistance throughout this process. The DVD's are of excellent quality, the way they are displayed in the cases with the artwork is great, they play perfectly and the original collection as well as the extra disc were sent well protected and packaged. It's much appreciated what Tim does for these hard to find series that haven't been officially released to the world and that he really goes out of his way to help customers. I will definitely be using HardtoFindTV again in the future and look forward to purchasing from Tim again. Get your vintage Toy fix by watching this amazing series!
